Brand New Training Services Get Your Users In Shape

With the need to ensure your teams are working as efficiently as they can be, BC has introduced new training services. The new ‘Go Live’ Support Service and the Floor-Walking Service ensure implementations go smoothly, while Refresher Training Courses and Drop-In-And-Ask Sessions provide additional support for existing users.

‘Go Live’ Support & Floor-Walking Service
To complement conventional training, our training team can also provide on-site support for your users at key points in your project, e.g. at Go Live. Help your users to get over any initial hurdles quickly. We will provide assistance at their desks, thus minimising disruption. They will benefit from hints and tips from an experienced trainer which will take them from beginner to confident User in no time. Duration: for as long as your users require.

Refresher Training
BC Refresher Courses extend users' knowledge of BC functionality and capabilities of current and future versions of BC. They are an excellent opportunity to learn about forthcoming updates and to share your experiences in an interactive session. The courses are flexible based on your users' needs. Whether they need to extend their knowledge of issuing, need to be reminded how to use advanced document search features, or would benefit from knowing more about the BC File Monitor, your specific needs can be accommodated.

Popular course modules include: Assigning metadata; Harnessing BC's powerful search capabilities; Issuing documents with pre-defined tasks (RFI, Transmittal, etc); Locating, discussing and responding to tasks; and Viewing and commenting on documents and drawings using Brava!

Drop-In-And-Ask Sessions
There is always more your users can learn about their system’s functionality in order to improve the way they work. The trouble, more often than not, is it's often different functionality for different users. A course for everyone involves a number of users sitting through training for functionality they already know 90% about. It’s just not viable to run a course with so much unproductive time! That’s why we’ve introduced the Drop-In-And-Ask Sessions.

For a day, or half day (or more if you’re users need it) one of our BC Trainers will set themselves up at your offices and ‘hold surgery’. Users can then drop by to get help with any questions they have or try out different features.
