Collaboration for consultant and project management specialist John Rowan and Partners
Construction consultant and project management specialist John Rowan and Partners have purchased a 60 user perpetual licence for BC.
The company has ambitious plans for expansion in the hotel and public housing sectors following management restructuring in 2006 and recognised a need for a document management repository enabling all documents to be readily accessible to team members, whilst ensuring naming and filing protocols are enforced.
In addition, an intranet will facilitate the sharing of templates, procedures and company news, whilst BC’s range of powerful toolkits will provide a central database to consolidate and cross-reference company information such as invoices, contractors, client information etc, between projects.
John Rowan and Partners were recently chosen as project managers for the high profile £85 million refurbishment of the Savoy, one of London’s best known luxury hotels, making it one of the most expensive makeovers of a London hotel in recent times. The lavish renovation project, due to start in 2007, and involving a redesign of the famous restaurant and refurbishment of bedrooms, will mean the hotel could be closed for up to a year.
